Leaning into the utilitarian brief for this kitchen, we used Dexion slotted angle for the framework and added warmth with Aspen veneered ply. Stainless steel counter tops and splashbacks complete the functional, industrial feel.
The clients for this Lewes kitchen required a practical, multipurpose space, but with a traditional warm and welcoming feel. Here the colour of the wood perfectly compliments the sage green handmade ceramic tiles.
Fluted oak drawer fronts and panelling were paired with the dark olive paint to bring texture and warmth to this new bright space. A high level of completely bespoke components from handles to drawer inserts were utilised in this scheme.

The kitchen of this light and bright open-plan area was distinguished with the use of sympathetic and functional materials, including Formica, linoleum, Aspen ply and stainless steel. A Bespoke light fitting completes the look and adds to the definition of the space.
Plentiful open and concealed storage was important to the keen cooks commmissioning this kitchen, as was plenty of space for prepping food.
With the kitchen looking across the Derbyshire countryside, floating cabinets were used to accentuate rather than detract from the view. The mint Durat countertops invite the outside in.
Furthering the seamless integration of the new kitchen design into the existing structure of the house, the Douglas Fir clad ceiling is mirrored in the choice to use the same timber for the fluted kitchen cabinets.
The clients had already prepared the kitchen space with painted exposed bricks and polished concrete floors, allowing them to visualise their ideal kitchen.
Details such as the choice and arrangement of lighting and use of houseplants offer domestic concessions to help soften the space without disrupting the aesthetic. A custom desk/storage area adds practicality to a previously under-utilised area.
The entire London Plane timber used for this Greenwich kitchen was sourced from a single tree. A stand-alone dresser adds additional storgage and display space.
The use of colour on adjacent facets of the furniture highlights and frames the distinctive rich lace effect of the quarter sawn Plane of the cabinet fronts.
Honed granite worktops and a stainless steel butler sink were chosen to offer durability and also act as a balance to the colours of the timber and shade of formica.
The worktops here are crafted form reclaimed science laboratory counter tops, the existing patina helping to creating a timeless space reflective of the building’s heritage.
Extending the attention to detail in this oak fluted kitchen, the cabinet interiors were also constructed from oak to tie the whole scheme together. Handmade solid oak spice racks complete the larder. Cladding around the extractor fan allows it to blend seamlessly into the space.
